The wings played well the whole series. They deserved the win. Lets see if they can carry their game over to the next round.

Go wings !!
Go Babc0ck (Montreal represent !!)
HUGE game for Montreal & Boston fans tonight.
GO HABS GO !!!
How's our h*ll feeling for you Canadiens fans? I hope it's not too hot!
John
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH I havent seen Price play that good in along time. Best 2 out of 3 now!!!!
Thanks! Of course I'm glad to see the Wings move on, but I thought it was nice of both the Coyotes and their fans to not show each other their backs right after the game was over. I admit being kind of torn to see the franchise's fate. It's always nice to see hockey catch on where you might least expect it, but I know that fans in Winnipeg miss their Jets.
As Glenn said, be sure to let us know what you use to do the deed.
This series is really heating up, and is a lot of fun to watch. Which team will be first to send their arena's fans home happy?????
Nessmuck, looks like you can put your blade down for a little while longer, and pick your glass back up. :roflmao
Morale is not good in Montreal right now. Everyone's aware that Boston has the better team, so we absolutely needed to bring that series to 3-1. The conensus among fans was that whoever wins game 4 takes the series. I hope they're wrong.
Seriously, is must really suck to pay all that money and see the home team lose.
It ain't over 'till the fat lady sings.
Will she sing in 7 ????
I agree with what you say. Boston has all the momentum going their way, so that will help them. Trust me, I've seen it as I'm sure you have, when your team's up and seems like they're going to walk away with it and all of a sudden find themselves tied in the series. It just seems like the demoralizing blow can be too much to overcome. I hope I'm right:D.
John
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOYAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!! I can smell it now. Thomas stood on his HEAD !!!!!!
Hope you had your  ready!! That was a fan-f:cenn'-tastic game! :bow
One of those where it was a shame one team had to lose. Thomas was sensational when he had to be, and fortunate when he needed to be. Price just got one less break than Thomas. He was outstanding as well.
Glenn24, I know you've got to be down, but the Habs played their hearts out. You guys gotta forgive me, but if they play more like that, I want to see 7+ games in this series.
I have to give a little credit to the refs, they let the boys play hockey !!!
I have my Fu Man Bruin Chu going right now!!!
Lifelong fan of the Winged Wheel here. Due to the economy and jobs I had to move out to Phoenix (though the weather didn't hurt!). I was at Wednesday night's game. It was pretty crazy in Jobbing.com arena. I really hope they can settle differences and keep the team in the Phoenix metro. I love going to Coyote games, and root for them whenever Detroit is not in town.
I got a head start on my playoff beard this year, but when it's over (hopefully in June with some noble drinkwear), I'll be sure to fill in the details. Last year I shaved early and it did not bode well.
Exciting series all around. Go wings!
Phi - Buf = 7 games
Van - Chi = 7 games
Pit - Tbl = 7 games
Mtl - Bos = 7 games
This first round is just plain nuts.
GO MTL !!!
My beard (If you can call it that... I look dirty more than anything) stopped itching. These past few days have been brutally itchy. It would be a shame to get rid of it now that it's comfortable.
I admit, I chuckled when this was posted, but I laugh no more. That backing-up truck may run the Canucks over and out.
Going to OT in Game 7!!!
The Blackhawks are showing the hearts of champions. So far, a great game, no matter who wins.
Seven games, seven games, just keep wearing each other out, it's all part of the plan . . . ;):p
Sabres are out, but, as promised, here is my hockey stache.

Going to hone up my C-Mon 7/8 square point before the game, just incase the refs decide to give out a bunch of 5 on 3 's. LOL
NICE !!!
There's never a dull moment when Chris Lee is reffing. If he doesn't mess up, the other one will.
That early whistle gave the tone to the game. After that, the refs wanted the canadien's to win, or that bad call would have stuck on them for a LOOOONNNNG time.
The beard (I mean growth) comes off tomorrow. I'll try & post a POBSOTPS.
That was a fun series !!
May Boston fan's beards grow long.
Glenn.
Tickets to Bruins game 7..................... 400.00
Parking........................................... .....50.00
12 beers over 3+ periods.........................96.00
Andrew Ference flipping the Bird............2500.00
Winning a 7 game series without scoring
a powerplay goal................................PRICELESS !!!!
These playoffs have been fantastic.
As an Islanders fan, I haven't had to worry about a playoff beard in a while...
Ok Flyer fans, step right up!!!!! Your next on the hit list. Let the games begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Bruins !!!
Here's my POBSOTPS:
Razor: Geneva Cutlery Co. 5/8
Brush: Frank shaving 23mm
Soap: Proraso aloe & green tea
AS: Nivea Cool kick
The shave was FAN-tastic. It felt like I was passing a squeegee on my face. It felt great to see almost 1/2" long whiskers just piled up on the blade. Only SMOOOOOOTH & effortless strokes were required. I got zero feedback when putting on the aftershave, no irritation whatsoever.
For those who still have the beard, it's worth waiting; you'll find your shave VERY satisfying.

P.s. That little geneva isn't the best looking thing (it's covered in these weird pit-like streaks and devils spit) but I don't dare change anything on it because it's an absolutely amazing shaver.
GO BOSTON !!!
Wow, the fact that a Canadiens fan says "Go Boston" means a lot! You're a class act.
Looks like San Jose is going to make Detriot squirm a wee bit. Didnt see the game though, must have been a good one!!!!
Holy smokes, talk about making a guy feel good ! thanks for the kind words guys !
Well, I'm a hockey fan before a Montreal canadien's fan. I love the game. I love watching it, I love playing it.
I liked how Boston played against Montreal, coming back from an 0-2 deficit shows great character. Because of that, and because I don't like the Flyer's hockey style, you can be sure I'm behind Boston for round 2 (round 3 for that matter, I'm not a huge fan of the other teams left in the East).
Yep, the Sharks bit us last night.
It was a very good game, and really could have gone either way. Franzen missed a great chance in OT, just before the double-minor penalty.
The VS guys pointed out how Abdelkader really had a "major fail" in the OT, getting the penalty, then coming back onto the ice after the PK and surrendering the puck to Ferriero. He's a good kid though, and I hope he gets his redeeming moment later in the series.
If Howard continues to play like he did Friday night, I still like the Red Wings chances.
You have to be feeling good after the Bruins did their thing today.
The Red Wings website says it's 21-14-6. Not a bad record at all. San Jose and Detroit are both great teams. That being said, I think San Jose is in a similar situation to Vancouver. They've had a great team for a few years now and always finish high in the regular season but can never make it to the finals. If they don't manage to make it to the finals this year, I think there will be some change in next years roster.
I happen to also be a San Jose fan, not so much that if the B's and Sharks played for the Stanley Cup I'd want them to win. Their AHL affiliate is here in Worcester, so I've become a fan of them.
Apparently I can't catch a break in either conference because both the Bruins and Sharks do the same thing each year, look unbeatable in the regular season and crash and burn in the playoffs. I just hope this year is different for at least one of them, preferably the B's.
