I know it's a little cheeky to post more than one, but here's the view from my backyard, taken with a Gevaert Gevabox box camera on Fuji Astia 100 slide film:

I grew up in the little town of Otis. 35 square miles.1,200 year round residents. A lake, a few large ponds, snowmobile trails that I used as MTB trails in the summer. I miss the hilltowns.
I try and make it up on the winter to ski and in the summer to sit at the family homestead on the lake. My great grandfather built both houses we have on the lake. He was one of the first private owners after the Collins Company turned their three ponds in to a lake.
This summer we took the kids to the zoo at forest park on what turned out to be one of the hottest days up there this summer.
My two year old son tried to climb over the fence at every monkey cage.
bill, i didnt know your wife was from OK, where bouts out there, from the pic i looks like some of the more rural farm area in the middle of the state toward the panhandle.
but ofcourse, i lived for 2 years in broken arrow, a stones throw from tulsa, and you have a point about that statement, if i drove maybe 4 miles down the road from where i lived into bixby, i passed major sod farms the entire way. lol, they do grow good yards there
A photo of a fury little friend who seems to likes my jnats as much as i do!
I was shaking when i took that photo! I DONT like spiders at all! especially when they are as wide as my 3" stone!
