Hey Alex, that was some cool stuff. I am hoping I'll do the same with snowboarding before I get too old to perform anything worth filming lol.
Nice video there LX.
I will post up some links for some videos we did for school for fun. FireStart has seen them and he seemed to enjoy them as well.
Addition:
We were suppose to create a product and sell it to the class. We went over board and made a video. The product we thought of was a cellphone Taser. :)
Then for the second part of the class we needed to tailor the product towards the school. So, we decided to Make a PDA version of it and go from there to help the security.
The videos are in the correct order. So enjoy (btw I am in the second video as a guard... I am Sean. I was not in the first one as I was filming...)

Are you one of the skaters? That looks like fun... and a way in which I could get hurt on the first try.
A naive and surprising note for me... I thought the U.S. was the only country with idiots who deface other people's property with spray paint. I guess there are people all over the world that need a serious ass whipping for making their surroundings look ugly.
Or their impulses can be directed to paint murals instead. By force if necessary.
actually I'm the only skater in that video. It's a profile compiled from all the footage that I'd collected in 4 years or so.Quote:

Alex, when they have the owner's permission, they usually paint murals. There was a community service project in my neighborhood and they did some great work.
so here's a pic of me surfing the swell that hit the eastern seaboard after hurricane florence passed by last week. this pic was taken south of cocoa beach, near melbourne, fl.

that's good stuff, too, with the jumping off of roofs. you'll never catch me doing it, though. too dangerous.
now let's see some pictures of firestart on that snowboard he's always talking about!
That's some pretty cool stuff, Alex.
Now try shaving and skating at the same time ! <evil grin>
;)
Redwoood
Just imagine a Serbian-Canadian in black and blue (to match my bruises) on a brown board (to match the coagulated blood) on his behind :D Actually I don't have any pics from last season when I really got into it, but this coming season, I'm definitely getting some taken this season though.. However, here are a couple from when I was into martial arts.
Nice photo's. I love the surfing pic. I have a friend in Cali who surfs a lot and I really want to try it. One day I'll be traveling to the states and learning how to "catch a wave".
Martial arts can be fun as well. Which kind did you do? Karate? Teak-won-do? Jeet -Kune-Do? It's obviously not Ju-Do which I did when I was a little kid.
Oh yeah, And I did some snowboarding myself some time ago....would do it again if I had the money.
I did tae kwon do for a few years. It was a whole lot of fun, but then we moved and getting to the do-jang became a real mission. I recently gave my sparring gear to my little bro who's into karate.
I am quite sure Urleeburd has been trying hard to spot the skating Rastafarian.:DQuote:

First, I had to locate a dictionary thick enough to find what that word meant... and then figure out what it meant in a sentence. Finally, I assumed that it was referenced to the avatar.
I think I get it... :roflmao
maybe
I still think the skating thing is the bomb.
See.................. I know hip words.
LMAO Bill :roflmaoQuote:

I dont know I feel very conflicted about using the words straight razor and pimp in the same sentence...to much culture shock involved....Quote:

I'm glad I didn't use my next newest phrase of approval....
FAR OUT! :nj
A slight admonishment to you crazy guys with all this extreme stuff. You could get hurt. Didn't mama teach y'all no better? Take up something safer, for cryin' out loud.
This is the closest I ever came to that nonsense you guys are doing...

It wasn't as much fun with green tracers in view, however.

Ok, I see we are bragging here, so here's my hobby. Well, it was till recently. hmm, I wonder where is my harness...:hmmm:
That's a 150 meters (~500 feet) hole down there...

and not so high, but way more difficult climb:

I would sure like to try rappelling from a chopper, but not under those circumstances, Bill.

Now THAT makes my butt pucker... no way I'm doin' that!
Hmmm...I have nothing interesting to brag about...but I think these pics are really cool :)
jl, just post a picture of yourself shaving with one of your cleavers. that should do it nicely.
i'm jealous of the rock climbing pictures. i've always wanted to do it, but there are no changes in elevation, or rock, here in florida. everything's limestone or coral, and the coral's under water. i'm a good climber though, so i think i'd be kind of good at it.
Geez sitting on my ass is pretty dangerous...heart disease, stroke, obesity, adult onset diabetes, back pain, ....oh yeah don't forget depleting bank account buying razors. That could lead to death (i.e. angry wife).
Bill you'd better not use "far out" in the streets. Some gangster-rapper might think you're some kind of hippy and "pop a cap in yo a**". Thanks for the nice feedback though. I love seing other people's hobby since I have such a general interest and would really love to try just about everything.
Alex, just don't say that around your wife or she'll put a cap in yo a**
OK, here's your chance to *mess* with the old guy. If that is you in the skates, who is in the avatar? (for some reason, I'm thinkin' maybe I shouldn't hit the "submit" button)
I have never been a real sporsman due to some sort of exertional asthma. Medication does not really improve it. My other hobby is gardening, unfortunately we live on very poor sandy soil (Drenthe) so it becomes a bit frustrating at times. I also love cacti but my wife doesn't so I have got only a few in the house. I like sailing very much but I am too busy for the maintenance of my own boat so I don't own one.Quote:
