SRP License plates

Changing gear with left or right hand makes no difference really and doesn't require quite as fine motor skills as wielding an outrageously sharp piece of steel near ones visage.

Soon everyone will drive on the left, didn't you know minorities always get things their way :D

I found that driving a friends old international scout II mail truck quite fun. Changing gears with your left hand was a bit weird at first. The hardest thing to get used to was hanging you right arm out the window while driving.

A number of years ago a friend of mine had a business breaking American cars, I got to drive a few 'left hookers' which is what we used to call any car designed to drive on the right, I tried out a Pontiac Firebird, a Chevrolet Camero, a Ford Mustang (my favourite), and a Cadillac Seville, all great to drive but gas guzzlers like no tomorrow, but the big advantage was that you could attract the ladies with ease, oh happy days!

I learned to drive in a manual (stick shift) car and found driving an automatic strange at first, I kept using my left foot on the brake which caused the vehicle to 'kangaroo' down the road, I was told to forget I had a left leg! It worked though, my last car was an automatic, which are brilliant for driving in London as it's all stop start, and slow traffic, driving in 'The Smoke' is no fun anymore.
