Snow days are productive in the Cover house.
My girls had a snow day today. Randi My oldest sat and drew with pastels today. She has developed a recent interest in drawing over the past three or four months and has gone form being able to do very little to being fairly competent in several drawing media. I was really pleased with the tropical fish she drew today. Of Course my snap shot doesn't quite capture the depth or contrast that the real drawing has but I gave it a shot.
Rachel spent most of the day on the lathe making graver handles. She has them looking pretty good. She is getting the hang of staining and finishing that curly maple.
