In my opinion, we don't need a consevative or a liberal. What we need is someone who both knows and understands the word "compromise." Same goes for Congress.
I agree, I would not vote for Ron Paul. I tend to be a very you keep your nose out of my business and I'll keep mine out of yours type person. Because of that I tend to have fairly libertarian attitudes politically (although I am very conservative personally) Even though I like some libertarian ideas I also think Ron Paul is nuts.Quote:

What's happening in Congress has absolutely nothing to do with compromise. It's fighting and stubborness to the point of total inaction. Then on the night before the government shuts down they hastily pass legislation as a patch job so that they can continue to draw their ill-earned paychecks until the next deadline approaches.Quote:
