People get all kinds of things propelled through their brains and survive all the time. Nail gun accidents are probably the most common but bullets and arrows are right up there. It's just a matter of luck as to where the thing goes.
Reminds me of the famous case of Phineas Gage, who survived having a tamping iron blown through his skull; completely changed his personality, though.
I remember watching a UK ER show on bbc...the dude had a piece of iron used in house foundations..along with cement bricks..somehow the rod went through his thigh...I though to myself...thank heavens I'm not into constructiin..I felt for the guy
Reminds me of when old clem was usin his manual bench sharpener and he was a peddling away and about then his cow Maisie stuck her head in the window knocking down a shelf full of ball bearings and he was peddling so furiously the bearings hit the wheel and were propelled and some got him in the forehead penetrating right into his brain. He never did live down the losin all your marbles jokes but he says he can feel them a rollin around in his head.
