What’s that, the kuala’s tough cousin from the country?
Looks vicious.
It's a joke/hoax--(that's a photo shopped picture)---kind of like 'Snipe Hunting' here in the states.

My Aussie co-workers tried to pull the drop bear stuff on me, but I didnt fall for it. I knew drop bears are only in Tazmania. :D
I think all creatures in Australia are sweeties... I even have a pic from another trip where I am petting a wallaby. OK, maybe I wouldnt do that with a 'roo... or, um... pretty much any other insect, mammal, marsupial, bird, reptile, etc... in Australia. Hell, the ant hills on Mt Ainsley were almost waist high! I also saw a spider bigger then my fist and his web was a good 12 feet wide! No joke!
Yeah I didn't fall for the peeing on your leg either. My answer to the snipe hunt was to go back to just outside the campsite and wait till they went looking for me in a panic.:roflmao...not really but I wish I had a chance to use that one. Never experienced the snipe hunt first hand.
Here's what the spiders are like in Florida
