Wasn't there a limeric thread here recently, or was that on B&B?
Jimmy, this quote from "Mending Wall" seems appropriate: "I see him there
Bringing a [honing?] stone grasped firmly by the top
In each hand, like an old-stone savage armed."
Just what grit are those stones? Frost gives us no clues, although they are presumably natural/not synthetic. Probably need to be cut, lapped, and chamfered.:)
I love living, and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna die doing it!
William Oldys. 1687–1761
BUSY, curious, thirsty fly!
Drink with me and drink as I:
Freely welcome to my cup,
Couldst thou sip and sip it up:
Make the most of life you may,
Life is short and wears away.
Both alike are mine and thine
Hastening quick to their decline:
Thine 's a summer, mine 's no more,
Though repeated to threescore.
Threescore summers, when they're gone,
Will appear as short as one!
