It gives people an idea who's been around on the forum for a while, and who's new to it. I find it interesting to see how many posts some have here.

I have a little secret for you. Guys with those big post counts have that automatic posting software. It's like the snipping software they use on Eboy. You just program it with some info and the artificial intelligence module automatically does the rest. After all do you really think Jimmy spends that much time on-line? I've been told he really has never been online on this site a single time. As a matter of fact he doesn't even own a single straight razor.
Pulled my covers ! :p
Sometimes post count doesn't mean much at all. There are more than a couple members here with low post counts (under 500, some under 100) that have been using a straight razor for 30 or 40 years; just because they don't live here doesn't mean they don't know what they're talking about :). I always try to keep that mind.
Hey, don't put yourself down. You know lots of stuff. We all do. Well, Tarkus doesn't, but .... :p
Everyone makes their own way - I've always viewed this forum as like an inn on the side of the road. We all pop in, share stories of our travels, warn each other of the dangers along the road ahead, share a hearty slap on the back, or a bawdy story or two over a tankard of ale. Give each other grooming tips, talk about scents and how much we love lavender, exfoliation, and manscaping, and how much we hate ingrown hairs and razor rash and..... wait .......
James.
But wouldn't those with high post counts almost be considered spokespersons for our community? Do we really want people like earcuttet and you other bunch of high post count elitists representing the rest of us??
Can I make a call for an election!!
AMEN!
Lololololololololol
