In a remarkable showdown with the Russian diving team, Canadian hockey juniors won their 3rd gold in as many years. The Russian divers came ready to play. Their frequent and masterful dives pleased the audience and the referees, thus giving them lots of power-plays but they could only get by Carey Price two times, while the Russian net got drilled 4 times in the game. The US hockey team defeated the Swedes, thus earning them their first bronze medal, ever.
