Sure. But the problem as far as I can see -and this happens in any country, not just the US- is that a good deal of the outrage often ends up being targeted at the wrong people. People who may not have anything to do with the problem.
That is why I like my Dutch example so well for this kind of thing: because regardless of where people are in the political spectrum, not even the most left or rightwing person would normally consider the fact that someone drives the same car as an assassin to be relevant. Yet because there was so much outrage, several people got harassed and threatened just because they drove a suzuki swift, just like the one that someone attempted to drive into the royal carriage.
I understand being tired of 'watching the dust settle' but if people don't, then it is a given that a lot of perfectly innocent people are going to get harassed and threatened over something they have absolutely nothing to do with. And I don't think that would be a good thing.
ok so after watching a few news channels and interviews this is what has come up ...
1) his aunt thinks they were set up
2) there dad thinks they were set up and then had his interview cut short while Russian authorities took him away .
3) everyone says how nice these guys were , and all there friends say "we and Boston still love you no matter what , just throw down your gun if you have one "
4) the hunt continues
Update; Currently a gunfight happening, hopefully it will be over soon.
He's in a boat in the back of a yard, blood all over the boat, either from last night or today.
Yeah,,,,just a little, they have bomb robots working around the outside of the boat, as they communicate with him.
