Gorgeous 6/8 Wade Wingfield and Rowbotham
This is a really nice example of a WADE, WINGFIELD AND ROWBOTHAM. I couldn't find much info on this manufacturer here on SRP but GOINS lists this as a circa 1825-1852 razor. Hard to believe it's that old, because this razor is absolutely mint looking now that it has been polished, with very minimal hone wear on the spine.
It is a 6/8 round point 1/4 hollow(?) and shaves beautifully. The scales are horn (faux tortoise shell) and have been sanded and polished. All that's left now to do is to pin it up and re-hone the edge.
If anyone else has more information about this manufacturer I would appreciate hearing from them.
