That's a Beauty! Nice job with the scales...very elegant.

Love the way it looks. What thickness of brass do you use and what adhesive do you use?

Thickness of brass is 0,5mm. Adhesive is a 2-component epoxy resin adhesive. Shock-resistant and resistant to age and humidity.

THe scales shape and sanding looks great. I don't much care for the screws although I can see the advantage of being able to take them apart for cleaning etc.
I posted something similar in black horn and copper liners not so long ago. I just use a medium CA glue for the liners - it seems to work OK but I'll bear the epoxy in mind for the future. One that did not work for me is Gorilla glue - maybe I needed to roughen the contact surfaces more.

Nice job on the scales but the screws take a bit of getting used to compared to traditional peened pins.

I know that screws are a little bit controversial among straight razor aficionados because they are not so traditional. But I like the practical advantages and also the look of them. And in my opinion straight razors can tolerate a little bit progress.
