It wasn't a wedge when I bought it--whoever hollowed it did it a long while ago.

That's a nice looking restore. I like it better without the shoulder.
Very nice work indeed:bow
Tally-ho! She was waiting in my mailbox when I went home for lunch today, so I'll be shaving with her the next several shaves. I'll let you know how they go.
Envious!
Mr. Sixgun did an amazing job.
Yep, he's definitely the go-to guy. This is the second restore he's done for me. The first was a vintage restore of a smiling 6/8 Sprock in real ivory scales that had to be unpinned, and he brought it off without a hitch. And it's one of my favorite razors--always delivers a great, comfortable shave. I have great expectations of the Tally Ho.
Excellent work as usual, Glen. Great job with the heel.
Nice save on the Tally Ho Glen, looks great. Like what you did with it. Best Regards Ken
Ohohohoho, what a sweet, lovely shaver! The edge felt incredibly keen on my face but with not even the ghost of a hint of harshness--just smoother than silk. I may need to mute the heel point; with some of my ATG angles, it came close to becoming an issue this morning--or maybe I just modify what I do a bit in this instance. I'm lovin' it! Thanks, Glen!
LOL I almost muted that point before I sent it out and decided to leave it and let you decide :) should just take 1-3 angled runs along the edge of a stone to safe it a bit...
I was really happy with that edge like I said above it was very well behaved on the hones from the get, but then again those Tally Ho razors have always been smooth shavers :)
