    scales: zebrano wood
    wedge: black ebony
    blade wide: 6/8in

    Good work! How did u not get banned for posting this lol jk to SRP... but I'm all seriousness I want to do something like this to a GD even change up the grind all together, to prepare myself for grinding after foraging the blade

    In my opinion the GD not really worth the effort but good for beginners to experiment. Good luck for that!

    I can certainly appreciate the very nice scale work, that said in the end you still have a Gold Dollar razor...

    And why not? The steel is good. There can be various problems with regards to craftsmanship, and we all know that.

    I'd rather people experimented with Gold Dollars than with vintage razors.

    I worked with three Gold Dollars, so there are not too big experience. I remember that twice or three as much time on sharpening than other razors. But very cheap, however...

    This is an old post, I've tried a lot of things so I think actually.

    I agree, I'd way rather work on and mess up a piece of junk then a piece of history lol... These gold dollars have a ton of issues with them and being a newbie I learned how to fix these issues I may run into the future...

    Yeah I came across this somehow, I just appreciated the work and thought I would say so...
