This is one I finished over Christmas break from school; I actually sold this one to a friend of my dad's. This fisher looked to just have some tarnish and a bit of patina, but as my luck goes...it was devil's spit near the tip just under the grind line, some at the bottom edge near the tip, and a small spot just in front of the shoulder just under the grind line. This blade had some significant hone wear, but with some patience, took an a awesome edge to it, but the smile aspect is very subtle. I really hated to let this one go, but I needed the money more than another blade . Since this is a fisher; I decided hey why not deep indigo dymondwood with a black g10 wedge (fish...water...the whole schtick). I think it turned out nicely. Oh and the little guy modeling is one of my father's custom hand made lures. Thanks for looking folks! The other set of scales was a follow up to the General finishes wood turner's finish post a while back. I think they turned out nice; unfortunately I couldn't get the camera to pick up the actual depth of the shine, but the curl of the bubinga came out nicely. Again the model is one of my father's hand made custom lures.
