Wade & Butcher Tapered Blade: ca. mid 19th Century

Just finished this vintage restore on a tapered blade W&B...everything is original, with a crocus finish on the blade. I place this blade historically somewhere around the 1850's give or take.

Came out of ICRU (intensive care razor unit) looking new :<0) I like the blade profile. Not many of those around.

Thanks my friend! I honed it up last night after I saw you...getting ready to shave with it this morning. It took a real nice edge...two layers of tape and 'Easy-Peasy'!

Think I found a blade like this one, it is on the way to Phranky's shave den, and like this thread, will definitely need RESURRECTION!

Both of my are early in that dusty old tread...lol page 6. Talk about bad photography. My shots are horrible...lol
