DD Satinedge
This one isn't a "Franken Razor" like the last one . It came with the original clear scales and a set of busted ones with the Bolsters. Simple plan for a common swap. He wanted Black Horn with the brass bolsters. Not a problem.
The same can't be said of the blade. It was a little crusty. Being that there is so little metal on these I did what I could. The edge had to be brought back just a tad for solid metal.
I made up some mini brass washers as I don't think the standard #0 washers look quite right even though this isn't a true restoration. I also used a pure white wedge to wrap it up. A very solid feeling blade in the hand now.

Gorgeous. The black scales and shiny bolsters remind me of "Tombstone" (the movie). Thanks for posting!

The black and brass do complement each other well.

nice save of a rotten duck
like the black & brass together a lot

Always amazed at what I would look at as beyond repair, then the after product is better than my daily shavers LOL. Very nice work.
