Wade and butcher celebrated medium hollow.

For my next trick....

Just kidding this one is straight forward. I'm going to do a stock restore and this wade and butcher.

Nothing fancy just going to clean her up and try to rework the spine to alleviate some of the hone wear.

I anyone has date range on this particular razor I'd appreciate it...

It may be just the pictures, but that etch looks easy to loose. Tread lightly. It should be a good project.

yea it looks light but its deep enough that a finger nail will catch on it.

It is so close to the toe that little bit won't even be noticeable. At most you are looking at 3/8" ? I bet you can take that out in half that if you are going with Spanish or notched

oh I most definitely will. its a shame that I have to modify the blade but if I'm gonna do it its gonna be bad ass.

Im thinking Spanish or notch but my plan was to refurbish and sell to get a couple more razors. but.... now I feel modifying the blade even 3/8 is going to devalue the razor to the point of not making my initial investment back

I think that you can recover some out of it or nothing if you don't sell or don't modify. Sometimes it's not about getting a little ahead it's about limiting our losses.

Alright, back on track, then perhaps a small scale modification, some buffing and you are ready for honing. A short setback and you might be surprised what it might fetch. Finger crossed.

it was a little bit of time but nothing to bad. unfortunately the real job had work today so not gonna be finishing until tomorrow night.

I have so many that have been works in progress for a very long time. I applaud your ability to start, finish and sell. I'm really slow at restores. I also often have many on the go at one time

thanks. its kinda therapeutic doing restores. I enjoy doing rough razors. this was my firs crack though.

maybe. I want to try and have this hobby pay for itself going forward so I have to sell some eventually. I just hope this isn't the best shaver I have otherwise I'll be really sad to sell it.

don’t judge it on a business decision, judge it fairly on how it shaves you may end up keeping it and getting another to sell off it won’t be the first time
you know you are really gonna like it when it's shave tested,
that’s a nice theory “a hobby that pays for itself” LOL
the letting go bit might be the reason I now have 45 Str8s as I have a similar intention to sell some eventually but I like them all & the more I have put into getting them back on track to find they're a great shaver makes it even harder

I have a red imp 133 the larger spike point that I have been contemplating putting out to the bay. I haven't shaved with it yet where there wasn't a styptic pencil involved. I think it's part vampire cuz it's always going for my jugular.

So I finished her today. What a sweet shaver. There are a couple beauty marks that I just couldn't get rid of but all in all I feel it turned out well. What do y'all think.

it shaved really nicely. I'm not super experienced with different straights but it put my DD, and red imp to shame.

unfortunately my RAD needs an investor and that investor will be whomever wants this razor. so unfortunately it goes on the block for someone looking for a wb that shaves better than it looks.
