Red Injun, my first true restore.
The pins and washers are new but The rest is original. I tried to dome the washers a bit like the originals and they came out ok. There had been a huge amount of orange peel like pitting on the blade that can still be seen on very close inspection but, at least in the photos, you can't make it out. I hand sanded and preserved the edges and corners well. The vulcanite scales were a dingy brown but came to life with wet sanding 1K to 2.5K, white rouge on the buffer, polishing paste, then renwax finish.

Unfortunately, after all the sanding, the blade feels very thin and I'm worried what will happen when I try to hone it. I'll get around to trying in a couple of days :p
