That is exactly what I am looking to have made one of these days. Maybe even with a slight smile. It would work well on my neck areas. Nice work

Great looker Tom! yet another beauty from your workbench!
Very nice save. I have a Torrey 5/8 near wedge with a barber notch and it takes and holds an edge like you wouldn't believe. Well, actually you probably would. :tu
I had one Torrey that was an ARMY issue - I recently sold it on the Bay & why I have no idea. It was an excellent shaver and honed so nicely
You hit that one out of the park.
VERY NICELY DONE!!
Thanks, Josh! It sometimes takes a while to see something I like in the pile! :)
Thanks a lot, Mike! Yeah, picbone doe not seem to go with others as it does American razors, to me. :D
My thanks, Roy! Means a lot! :)
It does have a slight smile, really! Quite an easy shaver. Thanks! :chapeau
Thank you, Harold! The workbench gives up it's secrets grudgingly! :rofl2:
Torreys ARE great hard steel! These older ones seem like softer, older type crucible steel. I would never waste time on an Escher on a more modern one, but the older ones like this really like it!
Probably holding out for a USMC Clauss? ;)
Thank yew, amigo! Means a great deal! :bow
The Torreys I've had have been a tough job to hone, but worth the effort once you get there. I only have a few but they are on the hard side AFAIC.
Your razors are always the best Tom. Another beauty. :tu
Beautiful job Tom. I love it. I have seen a lot of Torrey but never with a tang stamp like that.
