Reborn this Cuchilleriac Roche 14 Palmera

I found this Palmera 14 razor at the old antique market. I bought it and i began to work on it.☺☺. This is how it looked. Attachment 199460Attachment 199461 and this is the new look: Attachment 199462Attachment 199463
Now i just have to hone it and start shaving... i was so excited about it ,and i want to share it with you guys. I don't know much about this palmera 14,but as any spanish one i know that it has good recomandation. So please if there is anyone having or knowing something about this blade give me a reply. The blade is 7/8 and 4 inch lenght:) yesterday i had my first shave with it...a great experience i can say:)...the blade is much havier than the rest ...and it shaves by its own weight☺😊😊

So...in length is 4 inch...or 10 cm...in height is 7/8 by tha scale above

Wow, that's deceptive. Probably because the blade is so long and the tang so very wide too. Huge really :)

Thanks...is a big one...i'll post a photo with this one next to another...so that the difference may be observed.

Wow the tang would have to be about 5/8 wide then. That is wide. Make sure that the scale is scale to the right proportion. I would use a ruler or something to make sure its accurate.

Looked a tad smaller than 7/8s,do a little reaserch on the name on the scales,Have had alot of Palmeras,Have not seen that before.

"Cuchilleria Roche" was written on its blade...but had gone when i polished it...now on the scales is written "Cuchilleria Veiga"....i tried to get more info about this razor but i didn't get much from google...that's why i thought here i can find someone who know something about it...anyway thanks for your reply. I'll keep searching:)
