Puma Friseur Freund No.1
Hi.
I came across this lovely, small Puma Friseur Freund No.1 in pitty condition. Few large chips on the blade and some nasty, black pitting.

good job, looks like you reshaped the heal a little to accommodate the newly narrowed blade width, thats something that can be easy to overlook.

Awesome work. I wouldn't have looked twice at something with chipping that bad. If I hadn't seen the before photos I would never have guessed. I'll have to keep an open mind on similar razors in the future.

Beautiful save. How does she shave? I have had several Pumas and loved them all.

Another one SAVED and back in working condition!

Haven't honed it yet. Will do that today. Pitting on that razor was very interesting. It remind me that i saw similiar on some swedish razors. Just like borer bug tunnels. .

Stunning save on a razor I would have assumed to be a lost cause! Very nicely done, really appreciate seeing work like this. What method do you use for narrowing the blade width?

Well saved Maciek. Like Hart I wouldn't have looked twice at one like that. Makes me want to go back and look at some of my rejects - if only:shrug:

Nicely done,
this inspires me, like many I probably wouldn't even bother buying a chipped razor like that, but seeing your results, kudos!
