As bacon is good with anything i thought why not bacon scales? Since the real thing is fragile i substituted specially cut aromatic cedar with a CA finish. topped it off with fried egg pins.

Novelty scales, IMO, when done well, are timeless pokes at the humor of the day. The pins as eggs is the perfect subtle hook to the set as well.
