Adding to my Sheffield collection
A nice little G. Johnson 11/16 about 1/2 hollow I think. I'm not sure if it's a regrind but a nice blade all the same. I've been waiting for a bigger blade to come along but haven't been lucky enough to come across one. Amazing shave for a small blade.
The scales are honey horn and thin at .095 with a lead wedge and steel collars saved from the original scales. Interestingly the pins were steel too. I don't see that very often. The steel collars and pins makes me think its an early blade circa 1835 - 1840.
