TI Spinework
This nearly new TI was in need of some spine work. A bit nerve wracking on a new razor let alone tempered steel.
I followed the design style of other TI's and it worked out well as I was able to keep the edges crisp and still got everything polished up nicely .
The first pic is the layout of the pattern .

Very nice, mycarver. :tu
Did you modify the heel as well?
-
Impressive accomplishment and on a tempered blade yet ! We must change your name to "Mad Skills Mike.":chapeau

That's some delicate working requiring an, umm, even temper..
;)
Turned out beautifully.

I like that a lot. You have done a very good job with that spine.

Very Nicely done Mark :tu
That is not easy work

IMO the most important requirement for this kind of work is patience and persistence, which you must have in abundance. Nice job.

Thanks guys. On this one I only worked the spine. ( leatherstockings) .I've done quite a few other styles you may have seen but not on a higher end razor such as this. Once I got over that I was able to grind merrily away.

Quality work Mark! Really adds to the look of that razor...:tu

Hard (steel) work and stunning result.
