My 1st Jonathan Crookes
So many good Sheffield makers. Fun trying to find a nice one from each maker. I was pleased the etching was intact though a bit faded. The blade is a heavy 7/8. I made the scales from some brown and smoke streaked translucent horn with a lead wedge and nickel-silver beehive collars. The corporate mark is one of my favorites.

It is amazing as to how well the etch was preserved. That is a very nice razor.

Great job sir, that’s one of the nicest presentations I’ve seen in a while. A chunk of a razor that will be an outstanding shaver. Congratulations good choice of material. I like the hefty tang and logo too.

Nice blade Karl! I really like the scale work that you've been doing with all these vintage razors you've been sharing with us. Classic styling and true to form. Really top notch...
