Hi guys
It's been a while since I rescaled a razor
My first time doing bone, I like it :)
Blade is 13/16
Wedge is polished brass
Triple stacked washers
Thanks for looking
Mike

Very nice indeed. Love that you left some of the minor pitting which shows character in my opinion.
Thanks, yea, to get it perfect, the lines would have changed so much it would have more or less had to be reground. Its clean, serviceable and still looks good for her age :)
A very well done job of work! The style goes well!:chapeau

Very nice and clean.
Looks like it will be a great shaver.

She's a beautiful razor Mike. Good job.
Yes, A wedgy wedge with the bone nice and thin. Betcha it feels good in the hand! :tu
She's nice, heavy and thin :)
I really like the contrast of the brass on the bone, I think the wedge makes it the perfect balance of brass and bone.
Thanks Sean
I try to keep em classy :)
I appreciate the comments
Hahahaha...that's a beautiful razor and what a stunning job - I'll warn you right now, if you get a big hug when we hit Mike's house in August, and I start pouring you shots, be warned, I'll be gunning for that beauty - wow - what a beauty...fantastic work.
I spoke to Bruno earlier, and he said you should definitely gift me that razor when we're at the meet, and always remember...
:brunoisright
Thanks Phrank, I'm hoping to complete a few more before the meet, time is running low though, I have some more you might drool over. I might have to put trackers in them :)
That's a really nice job! I like the profile and the "stance" it has in those scales.
That turned out great!
Nice job... :tu
GREAT JOB!!!
Can't wait to see more when you get them completed.

Excellent work, the razor looks very classy :)
Great restoration. I love a nice Rodgers. :chapeau
My favorite razor hands down! Nice job on the restore, it will give you super shaves:)
Oh wow Mike! Your skills shine bright here. What a great job you did on getting those scales nice and thin. Looks like you took old donor scales and put them on this blade...... Excellent work brother!
Great job, I like the scales

Very nice! It looks like you got the bone scales pretty thin, like Ivory.
Here's a W&B I did quite awhile back in bone with a polished brass wedge..........

I agree, those scales have a perfect thickness. Coupled with the brass wedge, something I haven't got around to yet, that's perfect.
Some slight pitting to show character.
Excellent job!
