H. & J. W. King in bone
Hezekiah King was New York hardware and cutlery merchant and in 1869 he was listed at 92 Beekman St. which helps date this razor. A 13/16 near wedge blade that has all the lines of a Wade & Butcher. The blade is restored in a glazed finish as it was originally. The bone scales are nice and thin at .085 with a black horn wedge and brass pins and collars.

Beautiful work as always, Karl-I can't even tell that's the same blade. You are a master!

Nice job. I like bone as a scale material a lot.

Being from nyc, I come across his blades from time to time but they are always a disaster. Nice one

Mine says 51 Beekman Street. Does anyone know when he moved there?
