Very nice work on a great American razor.
That is special, wonderful work! I only hope to be at your level some day!

Thanks everybody for the kind words and encouragement, great to hear it! I had a terrific shave with it today, a nice comfortable close coticule edge. It has good weight and balance with the kind of smile that I've become very fond of.
And as some of you already know, I have a thing for Northfields. These were made in the USA, from imported English steel, by workers who were mostly imported from Sheffield. A neat time in history and they turned out some great razors. Then I also have a personal connection as I lived in Northfield when I was a kid and spent a lot of time fishing in the pond where the factory once stood.
