Those are gorgeous and i for one, miss seeing your razors posted.
Nice work Charlie. I’m glad to see you making razors again. I too have missed seeing your work. I know there is so many things to make and ways to spend the week.
:-)
Nice work Charlie. Beautif razors. Kinda a dark side look. Not mirror finished. I enjoy something beside the mirror finish.
Nice work, Charlie....I particularly like the top one.
Sucker for a smile, I suppose!
Those are beauts! Love how the patterns are so completely different. What steels did you use?
Both look awesome, but like Tom, I like the top one most, its got a vintage and modern look going at the same time.
Oh, brother, I absolutely LOVE the smiler pictured first. That's the way to re-enter the game -- someone's going to be extremely pleased. :)
As to Charlie's factory-fresh patina...that's another frequent signature of his razzers that I truly appreciate.
It is just ferric chloride
True works of art Charlie.
Me likey...
Pete <:-}
I must say I dig that design feature on the top one where the heel rounds-off into space.
Lots to that, I reckon...
Plenty food for the worked-spine crowd on the bottom one!
:dropjaw:
I have to agree, that cut up into the tang is real cool...leave it to the Great Charlie to create something "new" :bow
It looks like a round nose, that's broke, turned around, and attached to the spine. If that makes sense.
The top razor looks great. Nice work.
Forgot to ask you, Charlie, what grinds did you go with on these fine beasts?
I'm also crazy about the to one. Beautiful work.
