Though not a razor it is a custom build! Thought my green Escher needed a special home so i made it it's own custom walnut box. Inlaid a piece of veneer with a copy of the banner wood burnt into it and a copy of the label glued to the inside of the lid (still has the label on the hone). Went for a vintage look over all. Hope it give someone inspiration.

Wow. Reminds me of some old time coffin boxes for hones. LOVE IT. Will have to make something like this one day. I really like the label copies too.

Excellent work Tintin. Can't ever go wrong with some nice Walnut. It's nice to have boxes for these soft stones, keeps the edges from getting dinged up. Yours should last for years.
Thank you, yes they are both solid pieces of wood that i routered out. My only regret is not having a single piece of wood to make them out of as the color doesn't quite match.Quote:

Not to be a burden, but any chance you could show a few more photos, tintin? Say of the bottom and sides a bit more; it looks like you've put some nice care and detail all around here.
