Default A quick Joseph Elliot restore

Most of my restorations are decent blades with bad scales. This one was no different .

A 3/4 Joseph Elliot razor. The diamond F on the blade intrigued me. I haven't seen that before

Uneven patina, rust on the tang, scales shot. Saved the lead wedge.

Found some old horn scales and reused the lead wedge, and pinned it together.

    Thanks!
Repairing the scales took longer than cleaning the blade.

Yes. Have stones that run between 250 up to 12000

If you're going to own a bunch of blades, you learn how to maintain them. Once it's dialed in, into the rotation it goes and I may see it again in a couple of weeks. A touch up on the 12k when needed.
