Yeah I like the way the blade goes at an angle up from the heel making the handle at an angle I guess somewhere between 60 and 45 with the edge flat on a cutting board. Very ergonomic. Nice look to it too.
That is the part that has me curious. Most of the time I am parring holding the fruit in my hand and pushing with my thumb (knife safety?) So, I'd like to play with a paring knife in that shape to see if it would be awkward for my style.
But, the shape of a miniature chefs knife is very appealing.

Planedon, I agree with you about use for a traditional blade shape for a paring knife. My friend and I spoke at length about his intended uses and we think we came up with a good design for his intended use. The nice thing is it isn’t costing him anything but his time and opinions after some time with it.
Thinking more about it, that would make an awesome set of steak knives.
