Torrey with inlay
This one has taken awhile, but it's finally ready for one of the forum members here. It's curly bubinga with brass pins and brass/ebony Buddel-style sandwich spacer.

That is just plain awesome.

You did a great job. The inlay is so impressive! Bubinga is a great wood and is very durable. My parents have a fireplace which has a hearth made of one solid plank of bubinga that's approx 6'x3'x3". It looks as good as the day it was installed in 1974 and has seen a lot of use as a makeshift bench, etc.

That's some impressive work! Fantastic scales!

Awsome! How do you do inlays like that? Must be real hard?

The scales are beautifully done and the inlay leaves me speechless. Milling machine ? I have to mention the polish on the blade. If that started out as an old Torrey with grunge and pits it sure ended up looking flawless. There are some really talented members on this forum.
