Robert Williams Custom with MY G10 scales... may I say WOW!?

This is my new Robert Williams custom. I scaled it with some natural G10 Micarta. Cool material. Much like carbon fiber, but different working characteristics depending on what you are doing to it and it is more flexible. Plus it is semi see-through. If you hold it up to the light with something behind it you see the object's outline through it which adds a cool "flavor". Anyway, it's my own scale design on a RW razor basically. I haven't shaved with it yet as I have yet to hone it, but man is it beautiful. Seriously the fit and finish is pretty awesome. The razor closes perfectly centered and is ground really well. The tang is very tapered in terms of width and it too is centered veeery well. What more is there to say that the pictures can't tell you. I'm scared to hone it because I just like looking at it so much lol! Anyway, comments and criticism are welcomed as always.

One more of those beautys and I need to change my underwear!

Yeah it is a wedge. Like all wedges there is a slight hollow to it. I'll probably hone with tape :D. It is 15/16 at the widest, but really it's 7/8 for the most part. Almost a 3.25" cutting edge. From tip to tip (scales and blade) it measures over a whopping 7.5" thanks to the tang lol. Really fits the hand nicely when you hold it to shave since you can use all five fingers to grip it. I asked Robert to make 5 pivot holes so I could choose where to mount it. I ended up using the middle one, but it was a good option for me.

I saw the holes in the picture, and they look pretty cool, I just assumed it was designed to use the center hole, and the others were decorative...

Also I assumed it was smaller from the pictures, very impressive lines, if that doesn't scare the hairs away nothing will.

I love the profile of it sitting closed (and open of course), it shows how well you matched the shape of the scales to the blade. And the extra pivot holes look great!

Asthetically excellent, and I love the idea of variable pivot points. I sometime come across a vintage blade that I can't hold correctly, and think to myself about moving the pivot to a better location. Nice integration into your design!:tu
