Default A couple ready to go

I posted a picture of the abalone inlaid razor on the Razors forum, but I think this picture is better. The other is a giraffe bone 1/4 hollow spanish point.

Those are very smooth, nice shoulderless grind!

What kind of steel are they?

    They're high carbon steel.

Shoulderless is by far my favorite type of blade. Stabilizer bars seem to get in the way sometimes while honing and even stropping. Great looking razors.

Robert - those are superb...the finish of your blades always leaves me speechless...and the artistic touches always leave me wanting more.

I really like the Giraffe scales.

Personally, I would be tentative to own a razor with any mother of pearl on the blade or the scales... just because I think the material is brittle. But, I must say that your work seems to be a labor of love... and I am a sucker for blue/green abalone.
