New batch of Japanese style razors

Very nice.
It's hard to get a sense of the scale... how long are they?

The razors range about six inches over all, blades 2 to 2 3/8 inches long.

They look quite nice.

Do they shave? And what do you plan to do with them (something I'd like to ask a lot of blade-makers but never end up asking)?

What kind of iron did you use Kanemitsu?

I am selling these razors at japanesetools.com, as far as what I am doing with them there are detailed
pictures of each one up there. They shave as well as any other razor I have in my collection if I do say so myself.
The iron used is 99.8 percent pure iron made in France, as opposed to old wrought iron.

Your razors are beautifully done. They are true to Japanese metalworking. While I can tell that those razors are large, people who haven't dealt with Japanese razors may not tell. It'd help to put the measurements on the site. Regards.

Is it electrolytic then? neat stuff.

Thanks for the comments. I have been meaning to get measurements up and more work done on the site.
Kevin, I think it is not electrlytic iron since it can be had in purities of 99.996% iron. This iron I suspect
is just melted in electric furnaces.
