Superb job ,I love the way it looks & the fact that the blade is now good for another 100 or so years.
I also love the look of your scales.Paul

Great job. Really excellent use of the tools you had on hand-not to mention the amount of patience it took to transform the shape of the blade. I really like it.:tu
Okay, I guess I will be the one to mourn the loss of the original blade. However, I certainly appreciate the vision and skill to transform it into a custom razor. Overall outstanding job, and the new design is something that I wouldn't mind having in my own collection.
I have used my dremel for similar mods on a razor (made a barber notch with the orange cylinder), and your own work inspires me to keep at it.
WOW! You are the master of patience and have a very good eye.
That is simply beautiful work.:tu
Wow, amazing! Personally I rather the blade over the scales, but it's still beautiful. Not to mention you got exactly what you wanted!
Like it a lot Paul. Scales & all. :tu
You did that with a Dremel. ??? :bow:bow:bow
Awesome creativity & patience :D
Consider yourself a man my son, that is just fuc*ing amazing.
Maximum respect to you Sir, you stand as a giant amongst Stright razor users!
I agree with everyone else, you've done a great job, it looks amazing.
Given the excessive pitting and hone wear on my old W&B, I may try something similar. Speaking of which, how did you secure the blade while working on it? I've been wrapping an old wash cloth around it, and c-clamping it to my bench vice.
