Griffon 00 xx - Germany
People that own a Griffon 00 xx know what I'm talking about when I say this razor is a beauty.
Very nice hefty full hollow. This one doesn't dissapoint either.
Nicely restored and cleaned up Griffon 00 xx with Bolivian Rosewood.
I love the Rosewood family. It's a hard wood that takes a nice classy finish. Same as Cocobolo and Bocote. These are some of my favorite woods.
Maple wedge with the usual brass, nickel silver pins and washers.

that maple wedge really sets the scales off. what size is the blade? I also like the scales being on the smaller side. seems most scales I've seen lately are getting bigger. very good proportions on this.

Beautiful work max...
That blade looks pretty unique. I'm gonna check it out on your site when you put it up there. Especially the head-on shot to see the grind work on the tip.... and the slight smile... real nice !
You have a great eye for choosing great blades !
