Default J. Rogers "Diamond Edge" with buffalo horn

This is a 7/8 J. Rogers wedge with a "Diamond Edge" etching. Handle is from black buffalo horn. Wedge from tin and vulcanized fibre. The customer wanted the handle massive and I think it is.

That looks great! Those scales are really beautiful & they are typical of yours. The guys who are familiar with your stuff could probably guess it was one of yours from their shape. I like a lot!

That really is beautiful. I love the pins you used and that spacer kicks ass. the blade's etching is probably the coolest I've seen if only because it is really deep. man you could polish that thing over and over and not kill that etch.

It was my mistake. It is not really a etching, its was stamped in the blade. If you can see, the backside of the razor is more shiny, than the other. The backside was regrinded up to 2000 and than buffed (still not a perfect mirror ), but on the stamped site I only buffed the blade. Like you can see, the stamp nearly to the shank is only light visible. That was my try to use the belt grinder on this side too. I thought the same like you - the stamp is really deep. Only one short moment, and the stamp was nearly loosen. Luckily I noticed this fast enought to hold on.
