The Three Musketeers ~ Fil, Clauss and Johann Abraham
These babies are going back to their original owner since I can't keep them :w
The 3 Musketeers were send to me by one of our fellow SRP members. :D
Filarmonica - Clauss and J.A. Henckels.
I received a Filarmonica 'Doble Temple' which came with those tiny black plastic scales. The blade itself, immaculate.
I wonder who decided to put those matchstick scales on such a huge chunk of steel.
The Henckels and Clauss was another story. Both were severaly stained and didn"t look healthy at all. Looked like they went through a war. Off course I forgot to take a pic of the Henckels :gaah: but I got one from the Clauss. :)
Scale material was chosen by Steve. For the Filly Faux Tortoise, the Henckels G10 Black/Blue, the Clauss, wenge wood.
The Henckels turned out immaculate I would say. Looks brand new to me. I was able to remove all stains and blemishes. Shines like the bumper from a 1950 Cadillac.
It's a Henckels #50 and it's one of my favorite shavers. I also own one and would never part with it.
The Clauss still has a few remaining residual stains and micro pits. Those went extremely deep. But it's barely noticeable and knowing where this one came from, I'm extremely satisfied.
Still need to hone these up and since I'm taking the WK off it's back to work on Monday... :)
Steve, it feels like like an early Christmas! :rofl2:
