Yes, the handle is from bone. First I wanted to take mammoth ivory, but sadly the pieces had to great cracks  So I must change my plan.

AWSOME RAZOR!!!
IMO, this is by far the best you have done with regards to blade profile.
I love it.
I want one... wow, that's nice
You imperss me more and more with each razor. Fantastic work!
Very nice! Your working with some very cool steel. I like the way your going.:tu
Beautiful... Beautiful...
Masame hada, (wood grain ) ?? Did you choose to feature it only in the top half of the blade with the Fe Cl ?
It is subtly visible throughout the blade. Would love to see it in person.
Love Japanese steel. :y
I really do not have any thing to add. I just wanted to say WOW!
Great job
Charlie
The steel is layered from 11 layers on the left and 11 layers on the right sight wit an softer steel. In the middle is the white paper steel, that has a thickness from 1,5 mm. So the part of the edge will not have this "grain". Only on the top half, the back and shank from the razor is enough material, to show the grain, even I putted the whole razor in Fe-3-Cl.
Because of the softer back it is absolutely necessary to protect it with tape, if you hone the razor.
Great job, as always, Gábor! :y
