W&B Spike Near Wedge in Purpleheart
These scales were originally going to go on a Frederick Reynolds that I had, but a mishap with the buffing wheel changed my mind.
Purpleheart scales with CA finish. Clear acrylic spacer. Nickel silver pins with stainless steel washers.
The blade is 6/8" or maybe just a hair over. The shape is a little different on this though. It is a little past square, giving is a real spike point. I had this razor shaving sharp before I decided to put a little extra effort into restoring it. I cut my ears more than once.
Still a couple of little pits in it, but I wanted to keep the engraving as intact as possible. The pictures bring out the worst.
