    Exclamation Fancy 6 Day Set: #2 Saturday- Black & Orange

    Here is the second razor of the set finished. Again, Thomas Turton & Sons, Sheffield. G10 scales with hand worked area. The point is actually slightly 'spanish' but is hard to see by the photo angles I guess. Same spine work and all.

    Note: the natural light that I used in the photography tends to make many things seem 'harsher' than in real life.

    That is a beautiful razor! Did you stain the wood twice, or did the grain pop like that naturally? (It made me think of trying to make a set of scales in white heather- briar- burl..hmm...)

    I especially like the narrow up by the tang- it adds aesthetic interest and function.

    Nice work on the Orange G-10 and the Tiger Stripe G-10.

    I wish I would have thought of that first.....
