Great looking razor. And yes, they are FINE shavers.
Really nice work... They are really sharp shavers...
Easy Aces = American Steel
Sta-Sharp = Solingen steel
Both very good razors, both super hollows, but not quite the same....
The Sta-sharps and the Craftsman razors were made by either ERN or Kholler (*sp)
i must say really nice work. i just got 3 of hte gencos and i cant wait to see what i can do with them. they i all in really great shape but i may try to get a few more and see about making a 7 day that all match.
that were it pretty much going to, i may use it to practice buffing
Sorry to bump such an old thread...
I saw one of these razors while poking around an antiques shop. Everything looked quite good - scales in great shape... blade had lost a little luster, but to my newbie eyes looked to have little wear. There were a few there with a definitive change in blade height from heel-to-toe. Not good. But this blade was in great shape. No pitting, no chips. Did a thumb pad and thumb nail test (as best I know how) and didn't think there was anything off - other than being dull.
$30 a good buy for later attempts at fixing it up?
Thanks in advance. (PS - only a few short days into the world of straights and I may be developing RAD already)
No apologies necessary. Pin up girls always liven up a scene.
