Droescher Gold Bug in Olivewood

This was just a rescale, no blade work.
Blade is a Droescher Gold Bug (fantastic edges, honestly, I'm not just saying that)
Scales are olivewood, gloss poly finish, ebony wedge.

The platform is something I recently made especially for photographing razors. The finish is high gloss so that the finish on the razor and scales has something to be compared against visually. I think it works in this regard.

I've not come across an olive wood scale yet that i haven't admired. These are beautiful!

You certainly have the touch for timber. The platform looks pretty fantastic too.

Olive wood is just so right for so many razors. Plus it smells really good while you're working it :D

The ebony wedge is a nice touch. There is some great Olivewood out there and this is a super example.
