Meet Monty....
Monty Python that is!:nj
Actual python snakeskin acryluminum(tm) scales, clear wedge, pinned, oblique point, hollowed heel.
I like to put the "scales" into my scales...
The laminate has some air bubble inclusions visible when directly reflecting light off the scales. I'll have to modify my laminate technology, but pretty happy with the first attempt.
Take a peek:

That is really cool looking.

Wow! Love it.
Tortoise are normally the scales my eyes are most drawn to, but those look like a very close rival.
Really Nice Work!

I was at a snake and tiger park recently and I remember looking at their collection of snake skins and thinking 'hmmm, what could I use those for?' In the end I thought snake skins would be useless for anything regarding straight razors.
Obviously I was wrong.

Very nice work. It looks like your incorporating snake skin in a micarta type process with AL as the backing. But I have been known to be wrong on a number of occasions. Me likey Me likey,
