Very nice work brad. looks really classy and clean.
Personally I prefer the "feel" of an oil finish on timber but nice job there & good depth in the gloss.
Brad,
Nice work.... Your first CA attempt was a success. I have done many CA finishes but my first restore attempt (Which is still in the works) started with epoxy finish.... had bubbles in the finish. Sanded it off and tried CA that I know.... After a week of nightly coating and sanding and troubles, I finally gave up and went back to trying epoxy again. Still don't know what I like but I think epoxy may be the winner for a deep shiny wood finish that is bullet proof.
I still haven't figured out how you got that many coats on in 24 hours and got them to dry. My CA is thin and it still would take overnight to dry if I got a coat too thick......

Exquisite work Brad! :tu :tu The selection of wood, the finish, the wedgie wedge, pinning and blade finish are great! Love the wood!
WOW!
Those scales are absolutely gorgeous! That is stunning work!
What a fantastic looking razor!
Well, this is my razor, and I am anxiously awaiting it in the mail. Brad did an excellent job, and I cannot commend him enough. He worked with me through out the process, communicating, sending photos, etc. His pricing is very fair, and his work is very professional. I am anxious to get this puppy in my hands and the blade on my face. Thanks Brad!!!

... I think I need a razor with wood scales...
Beautiful!
I love the way the CA has brought out the best in the wood.
I've had one go. I used cling film wrapped around my finger. I'll try your method next time.
